In general, when you want to create a new backup Job in Bacula, you need to create other resources such as Client, Schedule or Pool first. If you decide to create the new Job directly from the “Jobs” menu, all resources that you plan to use should be created first.

We advise you to use the “Add a new Backup” wizard available on the left toolbox of the main screen. This wizard will guide you and will allow you to create new resources in a logical order.
